Hello Andrew,

Do you know if the new parts in the Factory kit will be available seperatly or will they only be included in the kit? I really do not need a completly new kit but would like to have the new bulkheads and rear shock tower.

Also will they be including the new revised steering knuckles with the third hole?

Thanks,

Anyone have a base setup for the short arms, for outdoor asphalt, mod, flat, fairly open fast layout, but still require a lot of steering.

I was thinking approx the same setup as before, but going down a grade or two in spring

Search for Andreas Myrbergs setup at mytsn.com... They're usually great!

Default here is xray's answer on upgrade

Dear Sir

Thank you for your email and your interest in Xray products. I am sorry, but there will not offer an upgrade kit. All the new parts will be available except the bulkheads.

If I can help you in any other way just let us know. We will be more than happy to assist you or help you out.

Default FYI

Hey guys....I know most of you already are running xrays but I have one for sale with a bunch of spares. Includes 1 body on the car and a very nice proline alpha that has been painted and mounting holes put in. Here is the link.

All new parts EXCEPT for the Bulkheads? WTF? I highly doubt they would sell a car then refuse to sell parts for it. So if a new Factory Kit owner bends a bulkhead, they have to buy a new Kit.

If this is the case, anyone want to buy an XRay?

1) NO trinity did not buy x-ray

2) As of my current knowledge the only difference in the new bulkheads is that they are lighter /more drilled out then the ones now. As far as i know the geometry of the bulkhead is the same its just a weight difference.

3) I doubt such a high quality company like x-ray would make you buy another kit if you happen to bend a bulkhead. If bending those bulkheads is even possible i havent heard of anything like that yet!

1. I was being sarcastic.

2. There are also the lack of Pillow ball suspension mounts and a new vertical front camber link location on the front bulkhead. (nice to have).

3. As I said in my previous message, I'm sure XRay will sell these parts...

Hey all,

I ran my XRay with my ultra stiff chassis and the short arms last night in practice. I went quicker on practice packs, practice motor and less grip than last Sundays race with my other car. And I set the fourth fastest time last Sunday. I used a set-up close to Andreas Myrberg's and Lopez's from the birds. At first it pushed bad turning in and was loose out-yuck. MAde some big and some small changes all night and on last pack it was really good. ITs loose at high speed-a little, great in transition and pretty good at the low speed tight corners. Just need to figure out how to keep the butt under it in the fast >90º turns.

The chassis is so stiff, yet only 2.6mm thick that I ran the ultra flex top deck to save weight. With the ultra stiff topdeck-its gonna be stupid stiff.

CRASH_call me sometime to talk set-ups-okay?

Ray
