The money about it isn't a problem, just that the store I am ordering from doesn't carry it i don't think (precisionrc.com), but if it is needed i can just get it locally.

The reason i added the Alu. shock bodies is that when my friend raced his X-ray for the first time a few weeks ago, he snapped a shock body from a pretty minor accident. An i just don't like plastic bodies lol.

Dontfeelcold, Yes, I still do. I raced it at the summernats.
Unfortunetly I cannot rely on it, It's goes alright, but there are too many problems with it. After seeing your car, Brad's and Jake's X-ray's, it will be an X-ray.

My plan is to race the X-ray while the Assassin problems get sorted (if ever) and see what will happen later on.

By the way, well done on your win on the weekend, you had some awesome drives.

P.S: How'd you know I had an Assassin?

This is right but the first batch of the 1.77 sets didn't have them on if I'm correct!

I've actually broken one too, also in a minor accident. I thought it was just a crazy coincidence. Maybe not?

The roll center bridge makes the rear have more roll so you should have more rear end grip.

Post Plastic Shock Body Breakage

A friend of mine has broke 2 of the plastic shock bodies on his car. Both on the rear. In both cases he finished the race and did not realize that it was broke till he picked up his car. Very weird.

Later,

Default STeering stop

Heres a pic of the white plastic barrell I used to limit steering throw-thus limiting damage to the CVD/frontaxle assy.

Also-and I shouldn't admit this-but I broke my car last night working on it-yup-its a FIRST!! I ran 4 rounds of racing with an 8x1-barely a scratch on the body!!! I tried to pop the ballcup off the steering knuckle and snapped the steering arm in TWO!! DOH!! & What an idiot I am!!

I've heard of bench racing but that's taking it to a new level Ray.
