I'm going through my spare parts box and I found some rear arms that aren't marked as to the stiffnes (S, M, or H). They are just there. Anyone have any idea as to which arms these might be?

I think that those would be the medium arms....I believe thats what the kit came with to start.

Robbie,

That car was Cyrul's xray. What he did was cut every other tooth off of his front diff. I asked him if doing that made the drivetrain feel "more free" and he said that there was really no noticable difference by doing that.

Hey all,

I ran my Xray w/ Warpspeed chassis for the first time last night. Man-these cars are soooo smoooth to drive. I could use more high speed steering than what I had.

I used Lopez Champs set-up-but with 3-degree CAster (dont have any 6* blocks). WOuld this increase high speed steering? My feeble brain cells says yes-but wanna check with you guys first!! Car was quite good everywher else. There was a big difference in handling too from 7mm shims in front of rear arms and 3mm in front. With 7mm in front car was a cadillac!! Easy to drive-smoooth, but maybe a bit down on turn n and a bit slugish. At 3mm shims car woke up more in terms of turn in, but started to feel a little more unsettled on exit. Just m thoughts.

Thanks,
Ray

Ray that's exactly why we went to 6* caster bocks. You could try giving it 3* kick-up and see what happens. Im glad to se your back on the team. Hey I say somewhere that Josh was puting a washer against the spring on the Servo saver to make it stiffer maybe you and Eric can try that. See how it works.

Luis.

Hey Pucho,

Thanks-I'll see if I can snag some 6* blocks from someone locally on Sunday and run it again.

I have another small isse with the diffs too-but ts a build issue I think. When I get them tight enough that they dont slip-they drag the whole drivetrain down (spin a wheel and it turns motor over). I loosen it some and rear diff slips a bit on the track. YOu can hear/see it slipping from a slow corner.

Ray

Noticed a few new parts on the X-Ray site.

Makes reference to the XRay T1 Factory Kit. Is there something new?
