Default Swaybars

Hey guys...how about some feedback on the two swaybars. I have been running the blade swaybar since I have had my car. I purchased the wire swaybar but have yet to install it. Which of the two swaybars do you guys prefer and why?

Also, this thread continues to fall to the second page.....have their been alot of guys getting rid of their xrays or just not active on the boards?

I think the XRay people have such wonderful cars that we don't need help on the forums

Let me know which sway bar you like better. That's the one tuning part I haven't messed with yet. I've heard great things about the blade sway bar.

Looks sweet Jason. Can you do that in the Ti color as well?

How much for custom text on the top deck?

I was thinking 2 Brains

I bought one of the TC3 chassis before I discovered the XRay. His chassis was AMAZING. The quality was very nice.

protc3: Will this car be available in different colors? Also is there anything else you did different with this chassis compared to the factory chassis? Please tell me some details!

the chassis kits are going to be available in blue, black, and titanium colors.i only changed a few things on the car.i moved the batteries 1/8 of an inch forward from standard rear position,i moved them in 1/16 of an inch toward the center,i beefed up the upper brace by making it 3/16 wider and a more snug fit between aluminum bulkheads,i smoothed out the shape of the chassis for cosmetic reasons.i made the chassis and upper brace out of 3mm carbon fiber and removed .020 under bulkheads to maintain standard height from the 2.5 mm chassis.i am confident that this car is not going to have any flex problems anymore.this is the stiffest kit i have made to date.thanks for your interest

Eric:

How are you doing? As far as sway bars go, when the eventually release the short arms you won't be able to use the blade. Which one is better.... I think It really comes down to personal prefference, I think getting the blade set up right is a PAIN so I prefer the wire, also there is no mistery as to what set up you have with the wire no angles to mess with. Alex liked the 1.0mm bar up front in practice. I'm trying to take the time to go to nationals at you guys place. We are about 2 weeks away from opening. TTYL

Default hey pucho....

Pucho....doing pretty good here. Ran today.....my car was a rocket in the first heat....same fast lap as Rob love and a few seconds back for the heat (not sure how I managed that one). Unfortuneatly that was the fastest heat for me. Ended up a few tenths slower than Love, Denton and a few others. Car was a little inconsistant today. I was pondering trying the short arms...is everthing available yet? Do you have part numbers or anything. Is your track going to be carrying xray parts. I need some "stuff". Did you ever find out about those bulkheads that Alex ran at the champs. Were they prototypes or were they from the 12th scale? I hope you make it up for the Nats. Should be a good time!
