to make the shocks silky smoooooth, put a little associated green slim on the o-ring that the plastic bottom cap captures. It will make a noticable improvment in the shock action.

I have the alum shock bodys on my Evo 2...very nice piece. I have found the special shock tool easier to apply, mostly if using green slime around the O-ring, but not necessary.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to know how the 1/12 Mini and 1/18 Micro racing is at your local tracks. Are there alot of people looking forward to the Xray cars coming out soon?

1/12th scale touring is growing over here. They already have a class of it in Trinity's ORL indoor points series this winter. That's only with one car available! I'll be looking forward to get the xray 1/12th for a christmas present.

For short technical carpet tracks, what motors are you guys (gals?) using? The track length is 165' and laps are 10-11 seconds, really good guys are dipping into the 9.8-9.8s.

I was wondering if the T1R is stiff enough for foams? Anyone have experiences with a T1R and foams.

I own a EVO2 FOC and a T1R. I race both cars on carpet with foam tires. I like the T1R better than the EVO2. The EVO2 FOC has more flex when using the stock top deck, but less flex when using the solid top deck. Either way, the T1R feels better on the track.

Out here, Micro's tend to be more popular than the mini's. The mini's are really cool to watch with those Japanese cartoon like bodies on them!
