Watch ebay for a few weeks to see what prices stuff is moving for.

Here's a quick question for everyone:
How is the popularity if the 1/10 Xray car coming along at your local track considering all the new shaft cars that came out recently?

When our carpet track opened 2 years ago it was 95% losi 5% everyone else. Today it is probably around 75% Xray 25% everyone else(Barracuda R2=1, Yokomo SSG=2, TC3=2, Losi=5)

The Xray is the car of choice here that is for sure.

RCInfinity.

More and more people at our track are getting X-rays. If you put the 1.77 pullies on the car accelerates better than a shaft driven car from my experiences.

I hope you don't bring out a new tourer that is shaft driven. Do what AE are doing and learn more about the car and keep it for a while.

I'm just looking for input guys, the thread is slowing down. Let's not talk about future projects that may or may not exist.

What 19t motors are you guys using? I thinking about getting into a 19t class for the USTC race at Trackside, but I don't have any experiences with 19t motors to know which ones are good.

C2 is the Chameleon 2 from trinity. Check out www.mdiracing.com they have a link to fast forward motors. these 19t motors rip and a bunch of the fast guys here in florida run them.

While we are on the subject of 19T's and that my track doesn't have that class, which one is the stand-up version and does it have any benefits to it? Which do you all prefer?

I've had a lot of luck with my old chameleon 1. It's way way faster than my C2. I think the old chameleon would be a better motor if you can find one. I'm not sure if they still make it.

RCinfinity- at our track there is probably 6 or 8 X-Ray cars, and whenever I run tc I try my best to keep the team proud FYI the hobby shop(s) stock a pretty good selection of parts. just my .02

Yeah I know the Chameleon1 and 2 are both laydown, what I'm asking is which motor has the stand-up brush system, is it the ARCOR 19T? If so, is ARCOR printed on the endbell?

racerdx6, I heard alot about that when the C2 came out.
