Thanks,
Yes, the new anti-roll bar is for C-hub only.

I guess the other secret XRay was a 1/18 scale shaft drive car.

I must say that i`m surprised by the chassis, quite stiff with the upper deck, before i got the kit o thought that i was going to get something between std pro3 and evo2 stiff...
Its going to be intresting to compare the Raycer and the evo2 on the track this weekend
Ran my Raycer/Evo2 hybrid tonight for the first time, much better than my Evo2, although that is most probably because I was running the pivot balls on the Evo. The car just carried more corner speed and was also a lot more stable than when fitted with pivot balls. All I need to try now is a carbon-fibre chassis for a more direct comparison.

As for the electronics, I've had no problems fitting a Keyence Zero-V Extreme and Sanwa reciever, neither of which are particularly small.

Default Pivot Ball vs C-Hub

According to the suspension setup guide that XRAY has Pivot Ball is listed as being the best for high bite carpet. Has anyone had any experience comparing the two. I hear the C-Hub is faster then the Pivot Ball but have nothing to base this on.

Thanks,

I have run piviot ball on carpet. Was much faster using the c-hub suspension.

Ditto.

I thought that the c-hub kit was the 'Carpet Conversion' renamed?

Default Pinion Gear

I am about to by an Xray Raycer and intend to run a stock motor. Can anyone tell me what would be a good pinion gear to start with.

Does anyone else run pivot ball on the rear and c hub up front? I just ran mine for the first time today and I like being able to adjust my rear toe in without buying all the hubs.

buying all the Hubs? All I do is put the adjusters on the inside of the front arm holder and I can get 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 degrees of toe in on each side.... of course you never want more then 3 per side.
