Default new arms

Any word on the new arms the guys were using at euro's??

Is it just going to be a one race deal or going into production??

And what is the purpose of these.it say's they are shorter!

I think the shorter arms will make the car transistion quicker in the corners...especailly quick high speed turns wihtout so much body roll

The arms are not production, they are prototypes. Initially for shorter tracks to improve body roll. Not really sure if they, if at all, will go into production.

Hey guys. I just finished building my new T1R to the instructions and the belts seem a little tight. Do they stretch a little as you run the car. Also has anyone had a problem with the spring adjustment nut when you set the ride height and then compress the shock and it slides back up. It seems to be machined too big or the shock body threads too small. Its not striping the shock body though and its only on the one shock. I have replacements on the way from serpent, I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

Thanks
Brandon

Never had that problem with the shocks.

For the Belt Break in take the axles out of the diffs and take a old stock motor and hook it up to your Turbo35 (if you have one) and set it to run at 4volts.. I did this for about 2 hours to get it broken in. I have also used a 55 Turn motor hooked up to my power supply. After that the belts were broken in really well. Then after they are broken in you can adjust the Diff Housing for them to be losser or tighter to fit your need. Also take the shields off the bearins and flush all the crap lube they use and oil your diff Bearings and Outdrive Bearings with Royal Oil.

Well I just got all my new parts in and started wrenching and all I have to say is wow. these new pullies are gonna be really SWEET! Got the rear end all put together and I am in amazement as how this had freed up the car. It helps that I also added skinny rear belt and the hollow top shaft. this car is gonna rock!

What do you guys think about two cars being released at the chicago hobby show?

I think they may release another version of the T1R with new tranny parts and new ARMS?

late
oh and thank to all that helped me aquire my parts!!
