If you have a T1/Evo2, you'll need the solid Alu center layshaft to go with the new pulley set. The T1R has one but it includes a plastic sleeve.

There are two parts now. The one for the Evo2 has an aluminum sleeve. The replacement part for the T1R has a plastic sleeve. I've read about people using the plastic sleeve where the sleeve melts and binds the bearing. The alu sleeve doesn't have that problem.

Others have said that the regular Evo2 center shaft has the right holes to go solid. I have not tried this. Can someone confirm?

www.ashfordhobby.com has everything in stock for the xray all the time. Robert is a great guy too with great shipping and ships the same day from Ct...gets to me in PA the next day. Great prices too, look at his LONG price lists...he usually has everything in stock too. Email him at [email protected]by.com for a quote and he'll email you a PDF of a quote/shipping. He has a lot of my business since I only race an xray and a serpent 705.

While your at it go to the X-Ray room on MYTSN and shoot Mario a e-mail. i did this a long time ago and he helped me out...but then again this was when Buster was selling X-Ray stuff. Ever since he got out of the hobby things went downhill a little.
