Looks the same as the original C-hub conversion kit..but made with Plastic. The Aluminum C-block is the same though..

Ok, everybody else seems to be coming out with a shaft drive car.... When do we see an Xray Shaft Drive?

Default Composite C-hub conversion

A friend of mine bought this. http://www.teamfuku.com/xray/xr300900.htm
It has everything the alu c-hub at 1/3 the price. Not a bad upgrade for people with older T1 and Evos who don't want to spend for the alu. It comes with front cvds and other bits to boot.

He is the guy I got my car off of and I would definatly deal with him again.

How tight or loose should the belt be on this car. I've never had a belt car before . Is their a way to check. My belt seems a little loose. I built it like the manual says. It also seems to rub on the motor a little bit. Is that because it is too loose.

I run mine stock and loose. less binding on the drive train. If it's too close to the motor try running a larger spur and pinion. I use a 120t 64p on mine.

I've got a 128 spur 64 pitch. With a 25 tooth pinion. I just threw it on, because I don't know that to run yet for a gear. I'll be running a 10-2 motor.

128/25...
I think that's too small of a pinion for that spur gear and motor..try using a pinion in the 30's

Sometimes it touches the motor at rest, but not when under power.

Default question to the god of xray

I picked up the spring steel hubs. One set of rears and on set of fronts. It looks like with the c-hub conversion, I really need 2 sets of rears. Is that true?

thanks
