Scrad: Where did you get this 2003 Version of the Evo2 from?
I haven't heard of anything like that and I can't find it.
Does it come with both suspensions? Pivot ball and c-hub?
All that for $350? Let me know asap....

Yeah I got it from Jimmy. on e bay same email as above. I also e mailed Ralph Burch and he said the new kit would be here in the states in 7-10 days. It should be the same price too. I ended up paying a little more for it, but hey I'm the 2nd person in the states to own the new kit.

It comes with both suspension options and a few other new parts included in the kit.

Place an order for the T1R at your local hobby shop when you get a chance. With the competitive price, there surely will be a waiting list.

Would a solid front axle work in conjuction with the solid layshaft? I'm not familiar with how the belt system works on the evo2.

Would a solid front axle work better that way or with the adjustable layshaft? Sorry for all of the questions, but I like running a spool, however I'm not familiar with the car.

It also will work both ways. It also depends on the driving skill of the pilot. Try it and see what works for you the best.

Has anyone had a small problem with too much steering throw on the c-hubs? I had to turn down the EPA on the steering servo.
