How do you like them? I run the c-hub all around, much needed at SoCal to stay in tune with the TC3's and XXXS'. Outdoor parking lot races is another animal all together.

Seaball,

I sold a LOT of my stuff. Thought I was going to have to quit. Got a baby due any day and a new job. Once the baby gets here and the wife and I figure out our schedule's I will probably be back. I kept a few things, but Evanichko did get a lot of my stuff. He's a good guy if you ever have to any deals with him.......

He also has awesome foam products......

Hi guys,
I just got my new xray this week and it's ready for a race this sunday. well anyway, it's a great piece of art work i'd say.

the thing that bothers me is the shocks tend to leak from the top where there's a a notch. i currently am using the stock plastic body and will switch to the alloy once they're available. so in the meantime, how do i prevent the shock from spitting out the oil from the top ?

yea..the Xrays shocks do leak.
To help stop the leak..switch to the GS silicone bladders.

I'm thinking of changing all 4 shocks all together and get the new YOK pro shocks instead.

The leaking of shocks is a common problem. Go to myTSN.com and post your problem. Mario Hudy will give you a tip to help prevent that problem.

A couple of my shocks used to do that until I found out that the bladder (black rubber thingy) got somehow crooked when I was putting on the top cap. Just something to check.

Yea he is, but he is going through the common new car blues. You know, still finding out the quirks of a new car that surprises you. He will be running it at the cal state champs.

Do you guys think the evo2 or the T1R will be better? I know it is hard to really know, but what is your guess. I'm trying to decide if I want to wait for the raycer or get the evo2. Who here likes the pillow ball suspension over the c hub or vice versa? I'd mainly be racing carpet with it and possibly some parking lots in the summer. Thanks for any info.

Default which car

racer is for starter,s(starter kit)
evo is for pro/ammature

pillow ball is more forgiving and easier to set-up
c-hub on carpet is untouchable if you can get it working for you(this is not always easy, and i know of some people who have tried it and had to go back.....expensive trial!!)

Just curious if anyone knows if there is a turnbuckle wrench that will work other than the one made by Hudy. I have not had good luck ordering through their site.

Thanks
Matt
