In My opinion you would have more trouble with the Stainless steel/alloy combo than the Titanium/ alloy combo although it seems that Titanium and alloy too like to weld themselves together. A friend tried stainless steel screws in his car and found that the St/steel screws after a period of time were a hassle to get out of the alloy. This may be an Isolated case but be aware of these things.

Did your friend put some barrier between the two metals?

To be honest I am not sure but I think he is smart enough to have used some grease or similar. All I remember is he had to drill out about half of the screws and made a big mess of everything.. It was not pretty.

Is the solid front axle improve the performance any on the EVO2?

I already have the front one-way diff.. car is a rocket through the turns!

The solid front axel acts similar to a one-way, however it doesn't corner as fast as a one-way. I've discovered that it best works in low traction tracks with large and/or sweeping turns. If you run it on a high traction track, you can dive into the corner deeper, but exiting takes a little longer. You can also hear the car scrubbing speed as it corners.

Looks like the T1R will have saddlepacks. One of the RC mags mentioned that it is six cells on one side.

Looks like sway bars will be easy to install on the front and the rear. Look at the shock towers.
