I got a xxx-s off a friend of mine and of course the yellow belt was disintegrated. I figured it was just a shelf queen until I googled xxx-s belt and found the ebay listing. Didn't like the shorter tooth count though and the "remove tensioner" part.

I also picked up a 22-4 2.0 last week and when I took it apart to clean it I googled the numbers on the rear belt "S3M 384" which is a standard size. S3M is the tooth profile and is a 3mm pitch. The other two belts are S2M or a 2mm pitch. Also its about 4.3-4.3mm wide.

The XXXS shares the 3mm size but is about 3.6mm wide. Stock length seems to be 250mm/750 tooth and losi had the optional 259 tooth or 777mm length.

I bought two belts from beltzoom dot com a 750mm 250t and a 771mm 257t belt to test fit. They are a slight wider 6mm belt, but we'll see their exact width measurements. My 22-4 gears are 5.65mm wide and I didn't measure the xxx-s when it was apart.

If those are too wide I'll try some belts from polybelt dot com they have 4 and 5mm wide belts to try out in 250t and 270t lengths.

Just thought I'd experiment and let the community know there are lots of belt options still! I'll figure out later what to do with this thing, probably get some Datsun/nissan bodys to match my real cars. Donno but it'll be an interesting experiment! Im surprised you guys still have XXXS's, I ran one for a while back when they were newish but raced mainly off road back then.

3M makes belt which suits, just have to make tensioner move few mm more up, easy dremel work. It is 4mm , 753T. Costs here in Poland 2.5$.

Huh I haven't seen that in my searching but Im here in the states. All I've really seen is the belt on ebay.

The xxx-4 long belt conversion said with the additional belt wrap you can run less tension freeing up the drive train though, so thats what I'm going for if the long belt works with the xxxs.

We'll see when my belts get here

Thumbs up

The hd belt and tensioner with 2 41t pulleys really helps free things up. The 41t pulleys being a little smaller helps the belt from rubbing on the belt cover.

Hi:
Does anybody know the part numbers for the diff gear set? Or where to buy them?
Thanks in advance

Does anybody even know if Losi made a gear diff?

I am on the lookout for a Spur Gear Adaptor so I can run generic spurs. Can anyone help?

Cheers
