- The event will permit the Sportsman Stock drivers to compete in a foam class of 17.5 Touring Car Foam in addition to the Sportsman Stock rubber Touring Car class. This NEW class for this event is open to all racers.
- The 13.5 Touring Car Foam option will be dropped.
- The event will add a Trans AM class for all racers to participate. Also, the WGT class is open to all racers as well.
-If you are sponsored you can not run 17.5 rubber
This is correct.

If you are sponsored at any level ou can not run sportsman rubber TC or sportsman 1/12th. The 17.5 Foam TC clas is open to all but modified drivers.

Sorry for any confusion I caused.
So is this only for current sponsorship? For example, lets say a racer was sponsored a few years ago, but is no longer sponsored. Can s/he run sportsman?

That's great since it will allow privateers to continue to race in sportsman without the wear and tear costs of the faster classes!! Thanks for the clarification.

With the new ROAR website, where did the Nationals entry list go? Those already signed up. Also, if you sign up at the Track, is the late fee going to be in effect?

This is from the ROAR site.

Feb 26, 2010 The 2010 ROAR Carpet Nationals will be held at The Track in Gaithersburg, Maryland on March 25th through the 28th. The entry flyer can be located Click Here. Registration is open and ROAR will be waiving the late fees for this event and will have registration open trackside, only prior to the start of the first round of qualifying. ROAR Membership will be available at the track for these late entries. The membership fee is $25.00 for the required annual membership for a national level event. ($30.00 if you choose to receive a printed rule book.)
