Default Orions new charger the Advantage

Anyone know about it? Like does it have fuse protection and a cooling fan? Looks just like the pulsar but with more features such as computer downloads and a 10 amp charge rate. Tell me anything you guys know about it

Hmmm. The so called "step charging" sounds a lot like Robitronic Expert 3-phase charging.....

http://www.robitronic.com/produkte/expert_e.htm

But it do have more features. And the USV solution sounds atractive.

Do anyone know about pricing?

Here is info on new Pitbull coming out

http://www.competitionelectronics.com/pitbull%20x3.htm

Think the Orion is more exciting of a charger as it does so much more, but I'm sure it will cost more then the Pitbull

yes, that's the problem of the web site.
I have been using the charger for a year, it is the best charger I've ever used.
well, I'll try to find the features in English.
the price is around $200.

Thanks. The price sounds very fair. Hmm, tough choise, but I think I go with the Robitronic anyway, since I prefer local warranty. And in the long run, I would like to get an discharger, which is separated from the charger.

I was wondering about the graphs:

Robitronic do it another way, they recommend 9 amps for first phase, 6 for the second and 4 for the third.

Do you know what's the arguments for doing it like Straight?

bigining of charging the batteries, internal resistance is very high. so we should charge the batteries at as low amp as we can, it makes the batteries better for everything.
