Default Team Orion Carbon Molecular LiPos

Hi. Does anyone with a vernier have one of these new Orion LiPos in their possession? Would like to know the actual thickness (height) of the packs in order to determine if they will fit my chassis. Unfortunately Orion does not specify their dimensions on their website. If they are the exact same dimensions as the original Platinium edition then that would be great.

I need it to fit my TA-05 with a 3Racing Ver 2 CF chassis. Currently the original Orion Platinum V1 Lipo fits my car exactly.

the dimensions are listed in the website, you would just need to go to the bottom page and click "battery overview" and this will lead you to a pdf file which contains the measurements.

i've copied and pasted the link below.

Are you sure? They are not on the Roar approval list.

I'm don't know why ROAR approved this battery,
because oversize , if other big co. same oversize again ,
will approve again , don't need control size !

& unknow why said true 45C ( 10 sec ) ?
the poster had said ( This allows a 45C constant current discharge of 10 seconds which means about 250 Amps )
this means is 45C only had 10 sec ?

I agree.

I don't quite understand Team Orion's logic of marketing the packs as 45C constant discharge for 10 seconds.

So is it constant or burst discharge current rating?
What is the discharge current the pack is capable of after 10 seconds? 20C? 25C?
Can the packs deliver current higher than 45C?

Here are the ROAR measured sizes of the Orion Packs. They are not oversized per the ROAR size limits.

The numbers are listed as weight [grams], length, width and height

Carbon Molecular Power Pack 4600
291.7 138.96 46.68 25.07

Carbon Molecular Power Pack 5000
285.4 138.53 46.39 24.95

Carbon Molecular Power Pack 5400
288.7 138.61 46.37 24.95
