I dont know if it will allow me to post this link, but I'll try. If you use windows 7, follow the instructions in this manual EXACTLY.

http://www.teamnovak.com/download/in...nual_v_1.2.pdf

I had issues with the update taking until I read and followed every step? Who knew a manual could help so much???? Pay special attention to the part that talks about "run as administrator".

I did everything exactly as it says. I'm pretty good with computers being a+ and net + certified. Its just not working. I'm sure there's a fix.

Yes I did, and it said it couldn't install on a 64 bit operating system. Still not working after. I have windows update run everyday, and I have restarted my computer. I'll keep trying.

I got the same deal with the 64 bit issue, I forgot, are you on XP x64 or 7 x64, and what version if on Win 7. So far I've got it working on both my Win 7 Pro x64 laptop and Win 7 Home Premium x64 desktop. I'm sure we can figure this out.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. It seems like the computer doesn't even recognize the usb link when it's plugged in, even when the drivers are installed.

When I get home I'll see if I can find the actual .sys and .ini files associated with the NovaLink and send them to you. I don't entirely trust the driver installer, I wish they had just included the driver files for advanced users as an option, and the drivers definitely need to be included in the website download release for people who can't use the CD.

We are talking about a x64 bit O.S. The netbooks are running on x32 bits.

Ok, I just bought a brand new Netbook running Windows 7 x32, downloaded the software off of the website and I'm getting the same error message! What am I doing wrong? I'm wondering if the interface is defective..... If you guys are getting it to work and I'm not doing the same thing, what else could it be?

Hardware failure is entirely possible, but unlikely. Send me a print screen of your device manager with the link plugged in and without. Are you getting lights on the NovaLink when it's plugged in?

Yes. Im getting the green LED light on the Interface. PM me your email and I'll send you the print screen. Thanks again for your help. I know I'm being pretty anal about this, but I have a State race this weekend.
