Hey Guys,

Red: Try turning the car on before you switch on the Transmitter. We've found this same issue with certain "boot up times" from different receivers and will be addressing this.

CYL: Shoot me an email when you get a minute. [email protected] Thanks. I've don't recall to many issues with saving the profiles.

Thanks Guys,
Charlie

A better question would be why a blinky light? If no timing then no light on. If timing is added, then a light is added.

Easier to break an LED. If the light is out you could still be boosted just with a non functioning LED.

if a cars legality comes into question there are easy ways to check...novalink and light sequence. would take 2 min to check.

True.. but what if a Race director called for a inspection of all cars in the A main, at 2 min a car you could be looking at up to a 20 min Delay in a race program..

Then maybe check the cars after, as you would have to do for 1,2,3 anyway.....

The ESC's have a Boot up Sequence to "prove" that all the LED's are working. So if you were to "Break it", it won't work at the boot up, and fail tech. Each model has a different boot up to avoid any confusion. We'll be generating a video that shows them all....eventually.

Art: Yeah. Most likely.

At Carpet Nats I had to explain why I didn't have a blinking light. I could have told them anything pretty much. but yea, when the esc boots ups, it goes thru all the lights so if the white light was broken it would show on boot up. as far as the extra time, seems like it took at least 2 minutes for each car to clear FULL tech. time wasn't an issue, you just showed up for tech two races before yours.

I got a note from UPS saying Novak sent me something. This is an exciting mystery as I wasn't expecting anything!

Yesterday I tried to change settings via button on switch and it would not go into set up mode. All light would blink, then go from right to left in series and back to normal. Anyone else experience this with 1.4 firmware.
