Did you see what they are doing to fix the evo 3 front problem on the thread?Wish I had mine still. That fix is the trick.Pinning the front pinion to the drive shaft.

Hey racenu123

I'll be at Htown from time to time. When is night racing starting? How about tomorrow night in the rain? heh.

Yes I'm that sportman kinda guy.

Evo3 POS. Stripped a front pinion every qualifier. Ended up 2nd for the main and didn't even get to run because I ran out of those dagnabit pinions. I'll talk to you more about the pinning trick when I see you.

Sorry thread starter for hijaking your thread.

Thanks.
are you running the titanium (sp) balls in the rear? They raise the ball cups slightly. Other than that I don't have a clue as to what the problem could be. I won't be at the carpet track until March 12 the friday before the big two day race.

I won't get to Stockton until the big race on March 13-14 either.

Don't have titanium balls on the car. Just got some really small diameter wheels on the Takeoffs. Just looking at the alternatives.

Probably get to Newark or Speedworld for some outdoor when the weather allows.

Thanks.

This seems fairly obvious, so forgive me if you've already got them on, but have you got the wide TC-3 hubs on ??? they generally solve most (but not all) clearance issues...

Good thought. It seems that just about any hub, other than what has come on my last few Takeoffs, will cure the problem. Thanks.

PeterCR knows the series to cause he partissipated to.
If you are allowed to use tractioncompound go for PitShimizu D20 or D25.

The temperatures you mention, is it track temperature or air temperature?

Thanks.

That is the temperature inside the hall where the races are held. I would imagine that the carpet temp won't differ that much from the ambiant temp seeing that it is a permanent track.

Hi Peter

Very long lasting, can you please give some indication? Like 10, 20, 30, 40 or maybe even 50 batteries?

Thanks
