Steve- You do not get a free set of tires. You can bring your own Solaris hard compound tires as long as it's in a new un opened package. You will just have to bring your un-opened tires to tech. This info I got from Dawn S.
Thx-John

Thanks John,

I read this whole thread and the other entire thread that Nor-Cal has last night and I never saw an answer to that question, so thanks!

Steve

I'm just going by what the President of ROAR told me concerning the tires.

Do chairs come with a pit spot or do you need to bring your own?

Wonder how much Southwest charges for a carry on pit chair

NorCal supplied tables WITH CHAIRS for the Reedy. I would assume that the same will happen for the Asphalt Nats.

If locals can bring their own tables and chairs, I am sure that NorCal will appreciate it to cut back on the number of rentals required.

If it's going to be the same as Reedy, we were not allowed to bring our own tables and chairs.

Yes, the reserved pit spots do come with a chair for $10. And as it "reserved implies, please call Nor-Cal Hobbies to get one in advance. We do have ample pitting for about 60 and we have brought in more tables, odds are you can claim one Wednesday morning. If you don't want to rush, call ahead to reserve one. I'm just trying to get the head count for what we need. Of course you are all very welcome to bring your own table and chair.

And locals, BYOT. It'll help.

Regarding Off-Road Racing Wednesday night - There will not be any. It was an oversight in our automated scheduling. Sorry for the confusion.

Regarding Spec tires - yes, you can bring your own tires, provided they are factory sealed in the package of the specified type. Of course we have plenty on hand.

Since Roar will not be there Wednesday for a controled practice I would suggest that you run a controled practice by class. Each class gets half an hour or so on the track (less or more time depending on entrys for that class) so mod guys aren't running over sportsmans TC guys or 17.5 12th scales, thats just not fun for anyone.

This way you can go out run some laps make changes and go back out with in that classes time allowed.
