Gearing Help

I know nothing about gearing. I have research but still... I'ma little lost.

I have a :
TB-03D (locked Rear/Front One Way)
-64T Spur
-22T Pinion
-Novak Ballistic 3S 8.5T Brushless System

The directions recommended 10T-15T Pinion. I want a little more toque out of it. My Brushless System runs warm but not hot. I used a Intellect 5000mah NIMH Battery w/Deans connectors.

What would you guys recommended?

What type and where do I get Tamiya pinion gears as wide as my stock one at?

Well, I was hoping if you guys can let me know what type pinions above in the links are compatable with my TB-03D. I heard 48P and 64P reqwuired changing the spur. I want to know which pinion I need without chaing the spur.

My motor runs real cool so I feel I can safley get some more torque out of it. Maybe move down to 19T-18T maybe 20T it's only a small drop. Unless chaning the pinion is real sensitive on the motor.

Going to a smaller pinion will only cool the motor down more so there is no worries there. youll need to buy tamiya pinions. give jeff at speedtechrc a call he'll get you set up with them
