Default CEFX Griffin 12 & Griffin 10 WGT

Hello Everyone,

Yes, CEFX is still around and working extremely hard on a lot of projects. Finally, the long summer which seemed like just race after race is over and I am actually taking a few weeks off of racing to get caught up here with CEFX and other things we have going on.

Check out www.cefx.net for the new releases of our Griffin 12, Griffin 10 WGT and Lithium 10 Oval cars. We will also have a lot of other new products and projects coming in the next 1-2 months so keep an eye out.

Also, the shopping area of the site is almost finished. We are just doing some test runs now but it will be up and functional next week where you will be able to purchase CEFX, Shepherd, Team C and additional products that are still here in inventory from CEFX Raceway at clearance prices.

If anyone has any questions, please just let me know @ [email protected] or to my wife Angel at [email protected].

Thanks and good luck to everyone with their racing this 2009-2010 indoor season!!

Back to work!!

What if you don't have a Phoenix donor car?
I really like cfx cars but no donor car for the conversion.
or wait for the top--

You don't need a Phoenix donor car for this kit. The Griffin 12 kit will need a new AE R5 front end, AE side links (or CRC) and center pivot. AE has been impossible to get OEM from for these things so we are just releasing the kit in this manner.

We will sell a Phoenix conversion kit but it will simply be the chassis, top plate, bottom plate, cross brace and possibly some screws/standoffs but that's about it.

Brief BRL race report from Cincinatti - The rest will be on www.cefx.net in a few with pics...

Well, back from the BRL in Cinci and I must say I was definatly impressed at how close the racing was but mostly as how many drivers were running CEFX and running so well.

In 10.5, Dusty Dean switched over to his CEFX car from last year for Sunday's racing and ended up bringing home the win!! He had a great run in the main which was a super close run down to the last 2-3 laps.

In 7.5, it was pretty crazy to see that the Lithium took the top 4 spots in qualifying plus 8 out of the top 10 spots overall. Hays Reeling Jr. lead the way in qualifying followed closely by Adam Leihr, Corey Heft and Terry Zinser. Mike Makus and Eli Ezrow bumped up from the B Main making it 6 out of 8 for the final. In the final, Hays was able to pull away up front and looked to have the race under control when there was a crash about a 15 laps from the end that also collected Corey. Before the wreck, we had a 1-6 sweep of the final going but in the shuffle after both Adam and Mike pulled off with damaged race cars. Terry Zinser snuck through and got out front to finish out the race with I believe his first BRL win!! Hays finished up second, Corey 3rd and Eli was 4th.

Overall it was a great weeked. Mr. Filo gave us lots of time at the track to practice and work on our cars after racing (thank you for the extra testing time Sunday sir!!) so thanks to him and the Tri-State crew!! Thanks to Chuck for keeping the BRL going strong!! Congrats to all the winners and hopefully I'll see everyone again soon at another BRL event!!

I keep forgetting - I will be posting news on the CEFX site from this event as well as pictures from the race. Also, I'll post the details on the new t-bars and R5 front end locators.

Hey Josh,

Will you be bringing these cars to Mimi Wong's The Track for the Northeast Grand Slam Series and the ROAR 2010 Carpet Nats in March?

Muchas Gracias

Any pics and availability on the Griffin? Is the car suitable for asphalt?

Good luck with the site. I feel your pain...

Josh just got some new graphite in last week and is working on getting stuff cut. Those dang oval cars are selling like hot cakes ....

He is out of town this week, and then the Champs next weekend. I think he is planning on getting more stuff out at the beginning of December.
