Merry Christmas to all

Any of you have race Griffin 12 on asphalt track?
It has good characteristics as on carpet, have you a set up for asphalt?

Please advise because in Greece we have only asphalt tracks.

Placed an order for a CEFX Griffin 12 on New Years Eve

Been Considering even running the KO BMC 1.5 as Josh does so well with it..

Anyone know what setup he is running on the KO, would it just be the 12th Mod version from the website?

The video which made my final mind up (was in 2 minds till then) look at that corner speed

I just emailed Josh to double check the correct part numbers for a rear axle and hubs for my new Griffin. I have a large order to place but want to be sure of those part numbers before I screw up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat. I've been trying to get some info on Griffin 12 and 10 WGT. I'm itching to buy one of these things, and I haven't gotten an email reply back. I know they are busy and a small operation (trust me, same story on our side of the house), so I totally understand. Just would like some data so I can send them some business!

Hey burgboyz,

I've bee running the inline setup for quite sometime now with very good results. The class Im currently running is 1/12th 13.5 boosted.

The car feels more stable on high bite very easy to drive. Its has a bit more corner speed and transitions very well through chicanes.Prop's to Josh, I love the car!!! One of the best car's I've driven!!!

Hope This Helps.
Mike

Great to hear.
I will check out your setup you posted on the other cefx thread.
(Also hoping to hear more chatter on this thread.)
Thanks Mike!

I have been considering getting back into 1/12 carpet racing. I came across this car and noticed it was a conversion kit... A conversion kit for what car exactly? I dunno for $9 more you can get the whole Gen XI car complete...

Found this thread after the recent posts bumped it further up.

I've got a Griffin 10 built and ready to go for the Snowbirds. Just one more shakedown meeting in the UK this month, and need to get shells new and old cut and drilled for the car.

What I can do is share the additional parts I used from a 10R5 "donor" car to complete the Griffin 10 kit. And the parts and approach to the centre shock.

Got some photos I can post up over the weekend too...
