If you're just starting up, it's a good car. But in the long run, I think you may want the TB Evo III or TRF 414/415 ranges.

TA04 Pro is among the first batches of TA04 series. TA04-R or TA04 TRF are other options you may want to consider for beginners to intermediate level.

Just my $0.02

Just given someone else the same advice, rather invest in a newer, TA04-TRF is very good, however a TRF 415 is an overkill for street bashing,

The budget will depend, but the TA04-Pro is not a good investment, too old

Cheers

Inspire,

If you are really considering buying a 04 Pro, go for the TRF version. It got tons of hop-ups already and well worth the money.

inspire: if youre getting it a fair price, i say go for it i recently got a 2nd hand TA04R and i am very satisfied with the car. i used to run a losi xxxs but im currently focusing on setting up the TA04. out of the box, it handles well and it is built like a tank. plus, there are lots of spares and hopups available.

ta04 are great n00b cars, ive had one for about 6 months and am just upgrading to a top of the line car now.
in those 6 months ive only broken one thing and thats with some HUGE stacks/rolls/flips. they are awsome to learn with because u dont get punished by your mistakes and once u know whats going on and u learn to free the drive drain/tune your motor and so on they can do pretty good in lower classes. if its a good price get the pro if u can affot it get the trf.
