I am new to 12th scale and was wondering what is the size and type of the receiver batteries that the pros use and where do I get them from?

You want 1/4 aaa NiMh batteries, or 1/3 aaa NiMh batteries, 5 of them in series. They should weight 3/4 oz or so assembled. They should be around 150Mha.
