I'd go for the quantum since it's newer but that's just me.

depending on your reciever size I would probably go with the quantum 2 for low CG. in my tc3 the gt7 and the reciever cant both be taped to the chassis.

The waterproofing is for wet weather racing. Some circuits actually race when it is raining.

Plus if you accidentally drive your car through a small puddle, or it goes out of control you wont fry your esc and have $150 down the tubes.

A waterproof ESC could really come in handy in Europe.

Ummm.......lets think logically here.......if its waterproof that must mean its dirt proof too.......so everyone can benefit from the Q2 being watertight

i could go for the Q2 other thank GT7..first, it looks so much cooler! chrome blue vs orange? like..COME ON! also, Q2 is newer and smaller, good for ppl who has space problem in their car, ie, 12th scale.

the waterproof is nice too, not like were gonna go driving in the rain, but who knows,
