I am looking to run carpet over the winter and was looking at either the XRAY X10 1/10 Pan Car Kit or the Team Associated Factory Team RC10R5 1/10th On Road Pan Car Kit. Anyone had any experience with either one? Is another car also recommended?

I own an 10r5 and love the car it responds to all the changes one way or another. Its amazing the adjustments on them when they do look so simple. Good luck with your choice.

The XRay is already a dated Chassis( set up for 4 cells)- At least here in Florida. Especially if your going to be running a single cell lipo .Out of your two choices I'd go Associated. Otherwise look at the Darkside Chassis. I don't drive any of these chassis.

I also wouldn´t choose the Xray for the reasons Bullfrog wrote already.
If you´re not limited to these cars the BMI DB10R is a very good car. Strong car also easy to setup and easy to drive.
