Default Sway/stabilizer bars fitted to front & rear (??)

Hi there. Ive a couple of questions about anti roll/stabilizer bars
Some cars seem to have Sway/stabilizer bars on the front and rear.
Should they be fitted to one end of the car only- as they 'move' some of the grip to the opposite end of the car?

Do they only work effectively if the springs/suspension are quite soft ??

??

I thought they moved transfer load left to right, not front to back, so can use either front or back or both, depending where you want more grip...

Oops, you're correct.
I was totally off track with that one, just had a look in the Hudy setup guide.
