I know that both Rui and I have been moving closer and closer to Drew Ellis' setup
http://forum.teamxray.com/xform/inde...=1172&setup=t3
it looks like Drew just updated his setup today. he wasn't running the rear arm mounts at +0.75 previously.... and he was running a lower rear camber link at position #1 instead of #3.
to keep the car from rolling i'd suggest using the low (-.75) roll center front arm mounts, along w/ adding 0.75 mm spaces to shim the arm out to 2.25mm from the front bulkhead. this will put the car at the maximum legal 190mm width.

I have a few setting like Drew did but not much.

That sucks...I dont see how people are having problems. We have a couple at our track and seen a few bad blowouts and they keep running. I ran mine for 4 weeks without a problem and this weekend put in the 1 piece and everything is still good. The one thing i made sure of was that the screws were always tight. After 2-3 runs i always cranked on them.

Anyone running foam?
I have to ask, as I only see one foam setup on the xray website and in the area we still run foam and not rubber.
2010 US spec that is very ill handling. Car is running the kit setup, and cannot get the car to have the 12 scale like handling I am used to. My T2 2008 was perfect on the kit setup but, this one is not even close on the kit setup. The car pushs then hooks, both directions sometimes traction rolling. I have tried thicker oil, increased toe, decreased droop in the front, Decreased toe in the on the back. Running double pink jaco all around at 56 mm with a standard neutral Stratus Body. Checked to make sure nothing is bent or dragging in the suspension. The general the car doesnt respond, feels very dead and tippy when on track, reguardless of traction.
Since I dont really get a chance to practice much, I am looking for some suggestions on what to try next as I am at a loss.
Thanks,

I agree there is not much online for T3 foam set-up but I found that the kit set-up is a good start. Not sure how you got it to push? Out of the box it steered like nothing I ever drove before. If your track has high traction you will want to install the front sway bar first thing otherwise the car has way too much steering. This will get the car close but when a good groove builds in the track the car will start to get really tight again and will want to roll/tip on quick change backs. Try putting a 1mm shim between the front wheel hex and the rim, then move the front RC to +.75. This should make the car very competitive. This car has been by far the best thing I have driven and as more people share set-ups the cars will only get better.
I am running dbl pinks as well but a R9-F and the original 2 piece front suspension holder. (not the re-designed 1 piece)

I am not sure what to get the t2 009 or t3 most of the guys that went from the 009 to the t3 are doing worst when using rubber on carpet are most of you t3 guys seeing the same result? I know the t3 should be a step up but what I can see on my local track the 009 is still king on carpet using rubber.

When the grip comes up real high you have to put the posts back on the car to keep it flat. Thing is most people are using some setups that had the T3 car flex set to soft. But you'll start seeing more setups with rear posts put back in for high grip.
We are also using the older quick roll centers in the rear to shorten the link some for high grip. The L1 L2 feels easy to drive but won't let the rear free up when traction is high, this makes the car feel like it wants to push.
Anyway, after making some of these changes it's really feeling good on high grip surfaces. We are all still new to it on US smaller high grip technical tracks so we're still learning. It is more capable then the T3 once figured out.

Soo what are most of the best value for money T3 or 009?
