I have used mine for two race days and I have had way too many crashes, some of them pretty bad. I haven't broken anything yet and I have already tied my highest lap count (I'm still a beginner so that is an accomplishment). I am very happy with the car.

I'm going to be calling RCAmerica shortly about the new piece. I will also mention that I believe Xray should be sending replacement chassis as well. I have attempted to CA mine back together, but I don't know how well it will hold... once I get the new piece, I'll be able to give it a try.

Spoke with RCAmerica. Indeed, once they receive the new parts, you will be able to call them up with your serial number and get the new part without charge.

Unfortunately, RCAmerica also indicated that Xray is not replacing broken chassis, but they will probably work on something to reduce the cost to individuals who had issues with their chassis to make the replacement less of a financial burden. This, however, I would say is not certain yet, so don't count on it. If RCAmerica does do this, it is definitely a step in the right direction. IMHO, Xray should follow through and cover chassis that had incidents.
