Explanation of Mario's post.

You are all a bunch of Morons, there is nothing wrong with the car, but for all you veggies we will make a fix, that you will have to buy seperately, but it will stuff up the handling of the car

The old style TOP 2 piece mounts and the Tamiya 2 piece mounts dont seem to have any problems.

The Tamiya two piece mounts are much different. They are much lower (less leverage) and attach with 2 screws.

Xray solid as a rock. People will break anything, even 48p spur gears.

I don't mean to be a Negative Nancy here, but was this weak chassis done purposely so Xray can sell the optional parts and get more money in their pockets?

I looked at that link with the new optional rear front arm mount, and it says:

"The 1-piece aluminum suspension holder will reinforce the chassis and will prevent chassis injury in serious crashes."

So I guess Xray cars are no longer the tanks they used to be unless you buy these optional parts?

According to Chris Kee's post quoting Martin from the Xray Forums, I'd say it was not an intentional flaw in the design. It seems like Martin and Juraj have done a lot of durability testing and still have not found what some of us are experiencing to cause this breakage. As dontfeelcold mentioned, people will find a way to break anything.

Knowing how much pride they take in their products I doubt they would do anything to risk the business they've earned from producing reliable, durable and consistent cars.

I do like the 1 piece option for foam carpet racing though.

That would be extremely gay.

Maybe if they designed the car correctly in the first place there would be no need for a new part, plus in the video he's hitting it in the wrong direction, it needs to be hit towards the cut out under the diff.

Give me one hit towards the centre of the car and i'd guarantee it would break.

Do we have to buy this part, or is x-ray gonna be giving us for free?

As obviously there were a design flaw on there part.

Just shariing
got t3 since it came to my shore, after 18 days of driving i had a hard crash and it chassis at front is ripped and also servo saver is chip. Since we got no parts till late december i have no choice but to run my spare t3 till we can have parts. Cant complain much as after 18 days and almost 2000 laps any car will go i guess.

Cheers
