Woohoo!!! It's built, well except for the electronics but that won't take long. This was the first car I have built for 20 years, it was actually a lot of fun.

I'm not racing for a week so I don't see any reason to get in a hurry. I've got to start on the body for it in a day or so as well. Trying to decide on what colors to go with.

Good luck with the build. I'm as slow as molasses and it only took about three hours.

Default Can't use the front pin holders

I tried using the front pin holders with no luck. The width of the piece is right but the holes are to far apart on the aluminum. So no luck on that attempt.

What I mean is I tried to use the one piece suspension block on both sides and the holes are too close together on the chassis. I was hoping they were the same for both but they are off my a millimeter or 2.
Update: using the one piece block on both ends of the suspension works in the front end. From what I've seen posted it looks like this is where most of the problems have been so that may help.

Pictures please.

I will be starting the build on my car soon. I need to know of any issues so I can take care of them before I slap everything together.

So the "one piece" aluminum suspension holder appears to work on the front suspension !

Great, thanks for taking a second look at it ! Yes, it would make sense the front suspension is more vulnerable in most crash scenarios, so for those that don't want to risk not finishing a race day and spending cash on a replacement chassis, this looks like a good temporary solution.

Yeah there's 1 degree inboard rear toe built in.I was wondering about this last night , they would have to produce a new one peice rear block with the 1 degree built in and mounting holes re-positioned.

You might want to take a look at that front right tire before you start racing, there is something seriously wrong with the inside of the rubber.
