Is there another toy show coming up in Europe? You'd think Xray would want to take advantage of something like that to debut a new car, if possible. But then again, maybe they no longer need that kind of publicity to release a car anymore. Just specualting.

Shaft drive, wow.

Actually it's more than likely true and the young driver was most likely Elliott Harper.

I think Drew should know if it is shaft drive or not since he will be building his T3 tomorrow at Glidescope RC in St. Louis. He posted this below in the St. Louis Carpet racing thread today.

"Jimmy we will be having practice days Monday , Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 10pm for onroad..Josh just give me a call I'll get you dailed in. Rubber tire touring cars are 17.5 or 27t brushed motors, foam touring is 13.5 2 cell lipo only..Right now what Larry said is true it is pretty much split..The VTA class is looking pretty good and 1/12 is going to be a blast.Guys come out tomorrow I will be at the track around 1:00pm building my new car if any one wants to come get the down low on the track if not for sure stop in on Sunday doors open at 11:00am..

Thanks Drew"

They don't release that many new cars. The T2 platform has been around for quite a while. Each year is just a refinement of the previous years car.

I hear what your saying but they rename it each time. maybe its just more noticeable when xray does it. but why buy a 007 when you can get a 008 and now a new T3 over the 009. there's 4 different cars right there

Looking to the past of Xray announcing new touringcars... when the announcement was there it took never more than 2 months when it was in stores. So lets hope it now will be end november at last...

I think it will be out sooner that we think because as soon as Xray announced it on their website, nobody will be buying the T2009... so they must keep selling touring cars...
