Please enlighten everyone on what a lipo only design would be. I keep hearing about it, but I just can't picture it without a Losi layout coming to mind.

When I hear this I assume something a la the Exotek chassis for the TC5. No slots cut for round cells which is supposed to keep the flex consistent on both sides of the chassis.

Lipo only would not have the battery slots like the current chassis. The TOP car as an optional chassis you can buy just for this reason. It makes the chassis more symmetric when it comes to flex.

This is good news.. it would be even better if they released it BEFORE the Tamiya 416x.

(in some languages, like tagalog which i "try to speak".... the verb comes before the subject/noun.. blah blah. so when it gets converted to english... same thing happens.. verb first..then the subject, noun... blah blah.. [/end nerd talk] )

Maybe they are going to realease it in late 2009 in time for the 2010 season so they are just considering it to be the 2010 car, just a thought though. Cant wait till they are released and I get mine.

2010 cars (1:1) are out now so why can't Xray say 2010? Anyway, by the time all you bashers get yours cause you didn't pre-order it will be 2010

This is way wrong!!! The website says "COMING SOON" take it how you want it. And the T2009 was out before 2009..

Default T3

Brand new to forum but here is what I know. I order a t2009 eu 4 weeks ago and it has not come in from my local hobby shop. Igot impatient and called Ralph at Or/c America to complain. He indicated it was on a container ship which was due yesterday. Anyway after everything cleared customs here in the US I'm told my car was not on board. I pressed him a bit and he indicated the next shipment from xray would be in in about three weeks. I presses some more and he alluded that anew kit was coming out. Sounds to me like early nov. He refrenced some debut at some upcoming rc event at the end of oct.
