Default t3

i agree aswell.. wrong choice.. the tc5r is a good car.. but if you want to feel what a real race car is like run a t2 009 or t3. Heck for what you bought that thing new.. u could have purchased a used t3 here. which would have been a huge step up.. I had a tc5r and the first time i drove my t2 009 I was like omg. huge success with it...

Our Aluminium spool outdrives are made from American, not swiss aerospace quality 7075 Aluminium and anodized black for extra hardness and a stealth look. Our outdrives have a larger diameter equal to the driveshaft blade, 12mm rather than 10mm. This greatly increases blade life compared using Xray aluminium outdrives. In testing, people have had blades last for weeks! They also don't have the problem of catching the driveshaft pin in a notch like the composite outdrives do. This notch will bind your suspension on power and brakes! Also in testing none have been broken. Hope you all like how they look.

These are for 52mm driveshafts and a version for the 50mm driveshaft is less than a week away.
They came up great paul, black looks much better.
For those thinking of these, i have seen a few sets being used for a month or two now, and they still look like new, the entire blade is supported by the outdrive, a crash will not cut a slice out of the blade.

Good to see you making parts for a real car Paul, let those Losi's die a slow death

Best thrust money can buy and waaay cheaper than buying a complete ceramic thrust brg set.
Could you please tell me what size the thrust balls are? And if anyone has a link or knows where I can buy only the thrust pressure plates it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Default 50mm outdrives

Here is a preview of the 50mm outdrives. Of course the finished product will also be anodized black, but this should give you an idea of the difference.

Nice going Paul, Guys Ive been using these for the last few months and still haven't replaced the blades, no signs of spitting or wear, great addition.

The 50mm version will be $26.50. The 52mm version are already selling at $24. The price difference is only because of the extra cycle time to machine the slightly longer outdrives for the 50mm outdrives.

If you are sure you will only be using 52mm drive shafts, the shorter outdrives are not only a bit cheaper but also a little lighter.

Yeh the black anodizing really come up nice. Not just for looks but makes the surface hardness quite a bit harder too. Thanks for the testing too.

Still goto get me some of those. But yes, they are designed and produced right here in Sydney OZ. I oversee every step of the production too to be sure the quality is second to none. The only part of the process not Australian is the aluminium which comes from the good ol USA.

I run a T3, but i think that a 009 is still plenty competitive. The guy that finished 4th at the Reedy Invitational class (Tyler Vik) still runs one and threw down against the world's best with it.
