go on the xray site and look for my base setup, quick and very easy to drive. if you have the hudy setup station. make sure your steering throw in degrees is the same. and dial in about 20-22 degrees of steering. Add dual rate at the track till you like it. you will be rocketing past people in no time.

                  Cool New to XRAY T3

My brother and I will be racing in Ripon, Ca this year with T3's which is an asphalt track. I appreciate any set up information that could help us get it right sooner. I know I am gonna have a ton of questions...........

Still can't believe a $500 car comes with plastic shocks...I here they are ok but am wondering if everyone makes that there first upgrade

Its nice to be here and this forum seems to get more regular posts than the xray forum

I am lead to believe the plastic shocks are smoother than the Aluminium shocks.

No upgrades are needed, but if you do replace them you can send me the plastic ones.

Finding it hard to find a T3 setup for asphalt / parking lot conditions on the xray setup sheets.

Anyone with a good starting point. Kit setup was in the blah range this past weekend.

                  Thanks for the advice.

The T2/T3 at least are funny that way - if you are not driving it competitively, the car does stupid things and is hard to control. Race it at race pace, however, and it's wonderful as always.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the T3.

Hey Xray guys out there, i need to know if xray has ever changed the length of the shock bodies on any of the xray cars ( 08,09,t3). i am talking about the plastic ones not aluminum ones? I was going to replace one of the shock bodies on my 009 and the extra shock body i have is a little longer. Any input would be great. THANKS

It seems the width or track of the T3 is quite narrow, especially the rear. Has anyone tried running their T3 at 190mm? any advantages of the narrow width?
