Default Tamiya Road wizard

Who knows anything about these, are they upgradable to the newer parts at all or just not even worth the time?

The Road Wizard is more of a collectible in Tamiya circles. It was an early car and not much of improvements if any can be made at all. Trust me, I own many Tamiya classics

I have owned a Road Wizard a long, long time ago... A very nice car and for that time, very fast... There are absolutely NO parts interchangable with the current F1 models of Tamiya. The Road Wizard itself is a beauty to be on the shelf but nothing more...
