Here is a view of the track from the pit space on right side. I would estimate the drivers stand to be around 5 1/2 feet high. There is grass behind the drivers stand where people frequently pit. I don't know why they do cause if you drop a small part there good luck finding it.

In hot weather you have less heat on the gound and would not mine taking a nap on the grass on a long day of racing.

How did you L2 hook up on the track?

I didn't run it today...concentrated on touring car. I ran my L2 there last week and it seems to work pretty good. I still have some fine tuning to do but that will come. I've been practicing with old Jaco Pinks from 1996 that seem to be still OK. Will put a fresh set on sometime and see how much different the car handles. I forgot how WIDE these cars are.

Hey everybody. I just got off the phone with Rick Wilson, president of ROAR. He is one of the most down to earth guys I have ever met! We talked for a good few minutes about the US Pan Car Championships and he gave me a couple names of people that I oughta talk to about the race, and he even said that he will do whatever he can to help promote the race so that we can get as big a turnout as possible! So essentially, we have the backing of ROAR!!!

Hey all,

So-again in summary if someone wishes to do the typing:

Where to buy the cool GTP bodies for the 200mm 10LT type cars and also the 1/10th WIde pan cars? I am considering piecing together as cheaply as I can a car to run outdoors at a track in Columbus called CORCAR. Theres a few guys who have bought cars to run this summer so the commitment is there. ITs 4-cell stock class. I was hoping for 6-cell stock or 4-cell Mod to scare myself a little-but gotta do what the rules say!!!

Thanks,
Ray

Ray,
Come out and play! If the speeds suck in 4 cell stock, I'll be pushing for 19t or mod for sure.
