Default F 104 Setup Help

I'm sorry if this is discussed elsewhere, but I wasn't able to find info on it anywhere. I'm new to the rc scene and just got a tamiya f104. I need to run the stock motor and wanted to run lipo in it. So my question is what lipo will fit and what kind of speed control would you reccomend for lipo and a brushed motor. I already tried a friends 5000 2c and it wouldn't fit. Thanks

the reedy 3400 that looks like a stick pack, with the wire coming out the end, works great for me

for esc the tekin fx or fx pro are some of the top

Thanks for the help. I wasn't sure if I should post in that thread but now I know. Thanks again I'm gonna give the reedy pack a try.
