Scoring methods
#1

As our club is looking for osme scoring methods for racing(preferably automatic), the amb system is too expensive.
are there any other methods available for fairly accurate results, how well does the laser type(slot cars, VRS being one of the programs avail.) scoring work with 1/10?
thanks

You might want to take a look at the KO PROPO scoring system. It's about half the cost of an AMB (although I haven't looked lately). I researched timing systems before I bought our AMBrc and the KO wasn't a bad option. The other thing you might consider is finding an older AMB 20 system. Perfectly usable and you should be able to get a good deal on one. Post an ad in the wanted section and keep your eyes open in the classifieds on rctech.
