Red face HPI E10 PROBLEMS

hi just wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me with the e10 touring. bought the car for 99 in a deal as i already had the electronic stuff, i put my brushless motor in it and drove about 5 min then notice that the inner bearing on the front and read diff had come out causing diff internals to destroy themselves. replaced them ran agaian with teflon bearings still did same thing. has anyone here upgraded a e10 or am i just wasting my time with this.

That sucks. Maybe you can find a deal on a tt01 since you are starting out, BUT any base model car is going to cost you money to get it race ready if thats what you intend to do in the long run.

yeah spoken to a person at the local track and he recommended that i start with his xray t2008 which he is willing to sell me for a good price and he'll throw in an orion 17.5 turn brushless and several sets of tyres and i can buy 2 lipo batterys for a good price too. the only thing i need to upgrade is my radio system from 27meg to 2.4 ghz and get digital servos for better response

Make sure you can get parts support for that Xray. It would kind of suck to break parts and then have to wait a while to get parts. Most of the advice around here says to see what everyone at your track is running as well as what car parts your Local Hobby Shop stocks, but if they can get you parts I would go for it. If other people at the track pilot Xray's then you can get setup help to.
