Default Lipo mAh question in F1 cars

I was wondering if it is overkill to use 4000 and up mAh lipos in F1 cars, or is the 3000-3800 mAh lipos enough juice to get you through a race, I run a 4200 30c but if a 3800 or so will do the trick then I would love to know what the run times are for the 3000 and 3800 size lipos because I really have no clue regarding the 3k size lipos??

I have been running a reedy 3400 25c in my F104 and an SMC 5200 40c in my F103 and they both make the race and warmup no problem. They are also the same speed on the straight

I have not timed it past the 6 min for racing plus a few practice laps

but last saturday in practice I was running with a buddy and when we came off another friend said we ran for 8min and my car was not dropping off.

You know about the dangers of over-discharging a lipo, yes?

With a silver can, almost 20 minutes.
