I raced the XXX-S some years ago and it was a very good and durable car. Actually the XXX-S worked much better for me than the TC-3 I bought afterwards.

Welcome to the club !!! After years of running some of the "best" chassis out there I'm now running a XXX-S G+ and loving it ! Still alot of support and parts available. We run RCGT and I've had no problem keeping up with or winning against much newer chassis. Good Luck and see you on the XXX-S thread.

Yea I got one of these ad my first tourer and so far I've found the biggest prob with it too be the driver lol
it's a good reliable car and stil capable of matching it against the newer chassis now thanks too lipos an brushless
several good threads on this car here now eith plenty of info

as for what speedy etc too run well that comes down too what class you plan on running ie stock super stock or mod etc and ya budget

I can't go past the ko propo bmc v1.5 for speedy ATM awesome brakes fully adjustable and has the timing advance function just not the cheapest option
another one I'd suggest for stock or super stock is lrp spx good brakes an easy set up few guys here doin well with them here
tekin is another I jus don't like there lack of braking
