Default 2010 xray tc news?

So...the usual suspects have been "sold out" or "back ordered" on the t2009 for quite some time.

This conveniently happens to be just when I'm in the market for a new tc.

Been looking at various chassis on the web and at the races, but for some strange reason I feel comparing the currently unavailable 009 to all the others is an exercise in futility. Can't buy a new one these days!

Anyone out there have a decently functioning crystal ball they wouldn't mind peering into? I've heard same design as 008/009, black aluminum parts, a significant redesign for 2010, etc... What say you?

** this isn't posted to encourage the usual gripes about yearly releases from the company...besides, I know guys still running the FK05 and doing just fine.

My crystal ball says that the Chinese clone 2010 will be out 86 days after the real one. Does that help?? J/K.

We have a few sponsored Xray guys and their lips are sealed. I can't get anything from them. I am waiting for the new car also so I can decide on what to buy.

There is an almost new 009 for sale on the for-sale forums that comes with a TRUCK load of parts.

(crap... it sold almost right away: http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...o-edition.html )

last year at least one (maybe more) team drivers were on rctech saying there definitely would NOT be a new car and there was. They probably just don't want to make the same mistake.
