Only if you require the lightning quick response to turn a 9.6 on the way back to the room..... no rx pack you'd probably taper off to 10.2's or so

Precisely the point. A complete spoof of every sponsorship photo ever taken at a big race. We didn't have any nitro fuel, otherwise a jug of that would have made it's way into the shot as well, even though it was an electric-only facility.

Sadly, no. That shot was taken after we completed the dismantling of the old Gate (after the flood). The pipes also burst in the space above the track, so it was literally raining in the men's room (sounds sorta like a song I've heard at the Gate, by the way).

Default Rubber Tire question...

Need a little help from the Rubber Tire Gurus... I do not run much rubber tire touring, and have used nothing other then Jaco Blues.

Does anyone have an opinion about which of the allowed tires hookup the best on carpet ?

I don't know if I qualify as a guru but I have been testing with the JACO Blues, SpeedRex 28s and SJ'R 28s. The JACO's seem to handle fine but they just aren't fast for me. I couldn't get close to the times I was getting with the Sorex based tires. These were the old version though before they changed the insert. The SpeedRex and SJ'R produced similar lap times. The SpeedRex weren't quite as aggressive as the SJ'R. So if you like a lot of initial steering the SJ'Rs are better there. The SJ'Rs seem to wear weird though. I started to get some weird dimples on the outside edge of the right front tire. I'm still working with both of those tires to see which I want to run. My fastest overall lap has been with SJ'Rs on but I feel a little more consistent with the SpeedRex and they wear better. SJ'Rs are the best looking tire of the bunch IMO.

EDIT: I should admit I have run Sorex tires for 3-4 years now and have little experience with the Jacos. I know they require a different setup and I may not have gotten the ideal setup with them due to lack of experience using them.
