Thanks for explaining that one, Mike. It went over my head the first time.

It's the year 2010. Shouldn't vacuum cleaners be quieter by now?

At least locally, only the Pro class drivers are using a Rx pack. The stock class guys are using voltage boosters, since we have plenty of capacity to make run time. A lot of mod guys were dumping, even with a separate Rx pack in 1/12 scale.

So basicly ther is no advantage to running one in the wgt class I mean wouldn't you get allitle more voltage from a pack then a booster?

Probably a little more voltage to the Rx and servo, but that more than likely doesn't matter. The Rx pack is about 20-25 grams heavier than a voltage booster (at least the TQ / HobbyKing ones). 28 grams is equivalent to 1 ounce, so you have to take that into account as well.

From the first post in this thread:

5) You can sign up via Paypal this year with an extra cost of $3 per person no matter how many classes you sign up for. The email address for that is [email protected]

Make sure you include your registration details in the comment box on the Paypal page.
