what brushless motor goes were?
Hey all: With so many different brushless motors 21.5,17.5,13.5,10.5 and mod from 2.0-9.5 do we realy need a seperate on or off road class for all of them? I think we should have 21.5 or 17.5 as stock class,13.5 or 10.5 as prostock and either 10.5 or lower as mod. I personaly think that for most racers 10.5 is as fast as they can handle so maybe that should be the new mod since only a handfull of drivers can handle anything less. Also lipo's are allowing cars to go faster than with the older nimh cells did so that should factor in as well. Just my thoughts what do you all think. Thanks

umm, its pretty much as you describe it. 10.5 is pro-stock, 21.5/17.5/13.5 is stock depending on where you are, and anything below 10.5 is mod.

Actually, it's even simpler than that, now, mod is anything less than a 13.5(at least going by ROAR guidelines), 13.5's are Super Stock(which is like Pro Stock or the old brushed 19 turn class), 17.5's are for Stock & 21.5's are more specialized, namely Vintage Trans Am racing(or certain classes of oval racing). And I think it works out pretty well....
