Default ko propo vfs-1 i need help

what shotky diode i should connect to a 6x1 motor instead of the ko propo ones, and can this esc handle 4600mah nimh battery?

use the shotky diode provided by KO. If you don't have it, don't run it.
I don't, I don't even run the capacitor and the esc runs just fine. Temps never break 120 F.
