Isn't green a indoor compound?
Or go softer on the springs?

The new asphalt has very lox grip so i would suggest a softer rear tire like bsr green.

Last year at the rc Lemans race in Apeldoorn I used GP 36 shore rears with 38HF shore fronts. The 36 shore rears should correspond with BSR purples.
I would not recommend going substantially softer with the rear tires as this will cost stability at higher speeds.

BSR Green is an outdoor compound and corresponds to 28/30 shore according to the website.
In the end i would just try a few options before buying to many sets. Also will depend on your skills, which setup stock/modified and how the grip has evolved since the track has been in use now for some months.
Also temperature will play a major roll in the grip that you get.

For myself i think this is now a low grip track same like Genk. In comparaison Rucphen is a track with much higher grip.

You are correct in comparinthe grip level of apeldoorn to genk. However, genk tends to build up traction aso the track gets cleaner. In Apeldoorn, traction stayed low.

Hi guys,

I realise that this car isn't a 235mm car, but can someone help me identify the wheels/tires that are fitted to this Kawada M500 WGT-X?

I'm trying to get a set for my HPI Roadstar.

Thanks
Daniel

I'm running a Roche P10W on a smooth, decent size asphalt track. 2S 6.5t boosted. There's a hairpin at the end of the straight that needs hard braking. My Roche steps the rear out (either direction) when I brake hard. My TRR Associated would brake into this corner as straight as an arrow.

Setup sheet is attached. Using an LRP Flow with BD3 brakes, 3% auto brake and no initial brake.

Any suggestions on things I should try to get more stable braking?

Default Front tire wear

Dear pro10ers,
I have a Roche p10w and am incredibly pleased with the performance and drive experience. Although I don't race (there are no races for pro10ers in Singapore), I do run my car quite often. I realized that my front tires wear out much faster then my rear tires... Is this normal or just poor selection of tires (I use matrix tires).
For other 2wd cars I have, the rear tires usually wear out faster then the front (buggy, f1 etc).
I'm unsure if it's a setup issue cos the car drives great.
Please help!
Thank you loads!
-Alexander
P.s. I frequent 2 tracks, one is asphalt (good grip, not so crazy wear) the other is a much smaller outdoor track that's surfaced with carpark grip paint (good grip, super high wear: 2-3mm per battery)

Yes, that is normal for the front tires to wear faster than the rear. Even 12th scale the fronts wear faster.

Yes!
It is normal.

What kind of tires are you using?
Maybe go harder compound at front like 38 or 40?

Usually I'm using contact rc tires, rears 30/35 and fronts 35/38 but in wgt 200mm car (sophia body).

Regards

I think this is not absolutely normal, in my x10 rear tires wear faster than front as it should be because I use 38-40 front and 30-32 rear.
Softer compound has more grip this doesn't mean it can last longer.

84t Kimbrough spur gear and 15-16-17 RW motor pinions, according to tire diameter (I start at 60mm and go down up to there is almost no more foam on the wheels^^)
